Stay at Long Tou Shan
Long Tou Shan rests on a quiet hillside above the Li River, surrounded by the soft lines of the karst mountains. Life here follows a steady rhythm shaped by practice, rest, and the landscape itself.
Days begin simply. Training unfolds through the morning, and the afternoons open into time for rest, reflection, or continued practice. Over time, many find that the pace of life here becomes as meaningful as the training itself.
Your Stay
Stays include accommodation, daily training, and all meals. Training takes place six days each week, with Sundays set aside for rest. Mornings are dedicated to Tai Chi and Qigong practice, while the rest of the day allows space to settle, explore, or deepen your own work.
Rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning, a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi and a balcony that opens to the surrounding landscape. Meals are shared, healthy, and nourishing, prepared each day at the school.
Students of all levels are welcome, whether beginning for the first time or continuing an established path.
Rates
- Private room, one person
3300 CNY per week - Private two bed room, two people
5000 CNY per week - Family room, up to two adults and two children
7000 CNY per week - Shared three bed room, per person
2000 CNY per week (The shared room is arranged with three queen size beds. The per person rate remains the same regardless of occupancy.)
Rates include accommodation, daily training, and all meals (3 meals/day, 7 days/week).
Reservations
To arrange your stay, please write to us at longtoutaichi@outlook.com. We will confirm availability and help guide you through the process.
Anyone who wishes to study is welcome, and there is no need to make an application. A deposit is not generally required, though it may be requested during holiday periods or for certain workshops. Once your dates are confirmed, your rate remains fixed.
Time Here
There is no fixed program length. Some arrive for a week, others stay longer, allowing the rhythm of training and daily life to unfold more fully. For those staying twelve weeks or more, a reduced rate is available. Longer term arrangements can be discussed directly. For partial weeks, the weekly rate is adjusted according to the number of days.
Arrival
Closer to your arrival, we will help coordinate your journey to the school. We offer a complimentary pickup from Yangshuo town and can assist with arranging transport from Guilin airport or nearby train stations.
Holiday Periods
During the May Day holiday in early May and the National Day holiday in October, a deposit may be required to secure your reservation.
How to Pay
Payment may be made in cash (Chinese Yuan), WeChat Pay or Alipay. Banks in Yangshuo provide all services including foreign exchange and ATM/bankomat machines that accept foreign cards.
Other Ways to Train
Private lessons can be arranged at a rate of 300 CNY per hour for one student, or 500 CNY per hour for two students.
For those who wish to train by the day without accommodation or meals, group lessons are available for 300 CNY.
It is also possible to stay at the school without joining the formal training.
